Amphora V earrings featuring palmettes in relief.

The palmette motif was a symbol of renewal and used as a decorative element in architecture by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Made from sterling silver with a fused link and decorative granule. These earrings are from a small collection of designs exploring ancient amphora shapes. Voluminous rounded and expansive these shapes are captivating.

Only one of each design was originally made while Vikki was working from her Oakleigh POP UP studio.

With wear the matte silver finish will slowly polish up. A feature of Vikki Kassioras jewellery pieces is that they are designed to individualise through wear by their owner. Over time matte pieces will become beautifully polished.
